Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Agreement”) govern your use of the website owned and operated by TruHome Real Estate Investors, LLC (“TruHome,” “we,” or “our”) and its associated services. By accessing or using our website, you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms of use. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our website.

  1. Scope of Services: TruHome operates a website, TruEstimators.com, which connects users with independent contractors (“Contractors”) for real estate projects. TruHome does not provide contracting services directly but facilitates the connection between Users and Contractors.

2. Contractor Relationship: TruHome is not a party to any agreement or contract between Users and Contractors. TruHome is not responsible for the actions, omissions, or performance of Contractors, including but not limited to the quality of work, timeliness, and adherence to project specifications. Any disputes, claims, or issues arising from or related to a project must be addressed directly between the User and the Contractor.

3. Payment Responsibility: Users are solely responsible for all financial transactions with Contractors. Payments for services rendered by Contractors must be made directly to the Contractor and in accordance with the agreed-upon terms established between the User and the Contractor. TruHome is not liable for any financial disputes or issues that may arise between Users and Contractors.

4. Limited Liability: TruHome and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, and representatives shall not be held legally liable for any losses, damages, costs, or expenses incurred by Users arising from or related to the use of our website, the services provided by Contractors, or any transactions or interactions between Users and Contractors. Users acknowledge and agree that any recourse or legal action must be pursued directly against the Contractor involved and not against TruHome.

5. Reporting Bad Experiences: If a User has a negative experience with a Contractor, it is the User’s responsibility to report the issue to TruHome promptly. Users must submit a detailed report through TruEstimators.com, providing accurate information about the incident. TruHome will undertake reasonable efforts to investigate the matter and take appropriate action, if necessary. However, TruHome does not guarantee a resolution or outcome in such cases.

6. Intellectual Property: All content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, digital downloads, and software on the TruHome website, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Users may not modify, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information or content obtained from our website without prior written consent from TruHome.

7. User Obligations: Users must provide accurate and complete information when using our website, including contact details and project specifications. Users shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and refrain from engaging in any unlawful or fraudulent activities while using our website.

8. Privacy: The collection and use of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Use by reference. By using our website, you consent to the collection, storage, and processing of your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Modifications: TruHome reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate any aspect of our website or services at any time without prior notice. We may also update these Terms of Use from time to time, and any modifications will become effective upon posting on our website. It is your responsibility to review the Terms of Use periodically to stay informed of any changes.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which TruHome is located. Any legal actions or proceedings arising out of or relating to these Terms of Use shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

11. Severability: If any provision of these Terms of Use is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.

12. Entire Agreement: These Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement between TruHome and the User concerning the use of our website and supersedes any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, and proposals, whether oral or written, between the parties.
